Please follow the instructions given to you by your group coordinators or received with your parading confirmation.
Make sure you wear your Parade Wristband, it gets you straight into the Pride Park.
Keep Hydrated & Stay Alert reporting anything of concern to a member of security.

Do you need a ticket to enter?
Yes, you need a ticket so register at: PrideinSurrey.org
I don't have a ticket, can I pay at the door?
Limited availability, it cannot be promised. We'd hate for you to miss out!
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is limited parking available, bookable when you get your ticket.
Can I bring my own seating?
Yes, small foldable chairs / stalls, bear in mind other guests, so bulkier chairs are not advisable!
Can I bring a water bottle?
Yes. The water bottle must be empty prior to your entry into the park. You can fill it up once inside.
Is there food suitable for my dietary requirements?
A wide range of food vendors are available catering for many different dietary needs.
Will I be able to smoke within the park?
We advise you smoke in open areas, away from others.
What can I not bring into the park?
Do I need to have ID?
A challenge 21 policy will be in action for age restricted items.
Are there toilets?
We've got ample loos for
everyones number 1's and 2's
Can I bring the dog?
YES! We love seeing
your Pride pooches!
The current forecast is between 19 and 22 degrees with regular patches of cloud throughout the day. Make sure you still
wack on some sun cream!
There will be a place for you to fill up water bottles. We encourage you to do so and stay hydrated!

What happens if the event is cancelled due to unforseen weather?
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel we will communicate to all ticket holders via our ticketing platform share information publicly via social media.
What is the dress code?
It is important that you do wear something, as this is a family event but otherwise wear what you like! We suggest comfortable clothing and if you wish to dress according to our theme then this is encouraged.
Any shade in the Park?
If you're meaning a break from the sun, yes there are plenty of shaded spaces.
How can i get involved?
You can volunteer to help out at Pride!
Whether it is greeting people as they enter the park, handing out our Pride guides or picking up some litter we have a variety of roles you could help us with on the days leading up to and of Pride 2022.

Who is welcomed to be at Pride?
We all are! It's an inclusive event formed off the back of people wanting to be included.
So whether you are LGBTQ+ or an ally of the community, be proud & show some love.
Can I bring my medication?
Yes, please ensure it's kept on your person or with a parent, guardian or carer.
Is there a quiet zone?
There will be quiet spots on the outer borders of the park plus you can access the St Mary's church hall, set up as a quiet safe space with access to suitable toilet facilities.
What accessible toilet facilities do you have?
We have accessible toilets with our portable toilet provider plus access to the Rugby club accessible toilets with changing facilities and accessible toilets at St Mary's church.

How do I get into the Pride Park.
Got your Pride in Surrey ticket? Simply head to the accessibility entrance where you will be looked after by a member of the team.
Can I have a carer pass?
Sure, simply select 1x carer with your accessibility pass when you book your tickets.
Can I bring my own food due to my health? So we can best support you and make sure you have everything you need please contact us to let us know what you wish to bring into the Pride Park.
What support is available to me?
There will be a number of support services at Pride in Surrey, many of whom will have stalls for you to engage with and find out more.
Remember you are NOT alone!

I've experienced a Hate Crime at Pride. What do I do?
Make sure you notify a member of our security team as soon as possible!
Can I bring a camera?
Yes you can bring a camera, or take photos on your smartphone. Try not to take photos which can clearly identify individuals that are not on stage as they may not be out/wish to stay off socials.
Can I distribute flyers?
If you are not a registered stall holder, flyers will not be permitted for distribution. They are only permitted within the space of the stallholder.
Do you have a quiet zone?
We have allocated a quiet zone within the St Mary's church which backs onto the Pride Park
Where is there a cash machine?
There are 2 cash machines on the Frimley Road near Watchetts Rec. 1 by the Esso Garade and 1 by the Co-op.
Can I bring an airhorn?
Strictly no airhorns or megaphones are allowed unless they are used on stage/ by volunteers on the day
Travelling to pride
I am travelling by car. How do I organise parking?
As previously stated, limited parking is available at the event. This can be reserved when you purchase your ticket online.
Looking to travel by bus?
The number 1 Stagecoach bus stops on Frimley Road, less than five minutes walk from Watchetts Recreation Ground (The Pride Park).
Camberley Town Centre, is well connected by Stagecoach buses.

Is there a train station nearby?
For those of you travelling by train, Camberley is the nearest station. It is a 30 second walk from the parade route. If you are going on to Watchetts Recreation Ground, the walk will be around 20 minutes at a leisurely walking pace.
Will there be a taxi/car drop off or pick up point?
Yes, a taxi can drop you off at Park Road after the parade once the road reopens at 12 noon. Alternatively, a taxi can drop you off along Frimley Road, less than a five minute walk from the park.

How many stages do you have?
We have the Main stage, Boileroom community stage and we've got some bits and bobs going on in our Youth Zone too including a Drag Queen Story Time.
